Week Thirty-Six: June 27th, 2011

Hey Everyone,
This week has been good. We are still working on finding some new investigators Wefinally got in with Daniel and now that we understand the situation (I can't explain) We just can't leave him yet. He is going through some really hard trials. We had interviews this past week with our mission President! He is amazing. We were so excted that Teresa got confirmed yesterday! This morning we played soccer with our zone like we do on most P-days and I did considerably well being goalie especially because of the fact that we were playing on concrete. I bought some soccer shoes and they are awesome. I am sending a picture of them. We have a Family Home Evening planned for later tonight with one of the leaders in our ward, Nibaldo and his wife Iris . Well my comp has only 3 weeks left and is doing really good. He isn't trunky at all. I hope everyone is doing well.

Week Thirty-Five: June 20th, 2011

Dear Family,
This has been a good week. Well the most exciting thing that has happened this week is Teresa got baptized yesterday. It was an awesome baptism. All of her family came and supported her. We also have been have some good appointments with Iris. She has now told us that it will just be a month until they can be married. We finally got in with Daniel although he still hasn't come to church. We are getting very close to the time where we will have to leave him for a time. This week has been a crazy week with the weather. It has rained almost every day. But things are going good. Last week I ended up buying an electric blanket and I have to confess it is awesome. It goes on the matress and heats up the whole bed. I absolutely love it. Well that is about it for this week. I love you all and hope all goes well.

Week Thirty-Four: June 13th, 2011

Dear Family,
This has been an exciting week in some ways and yet a slower week in others. Well we had changes this past week. Most of our Zone got changed out. But we didn't so that's all good. So some exciting things this week.
Teresa had her Baptismal Interview and passed so we should be having the baptism next Sunday. So that is exciting and awesome. On a sadder note it looks like this week we will have to leave Daniel for awhile.
He just isn't progressing and at this point there really isn't anything we can do for him. The weather has been unusually warm the past 3 days. Before that it was cold but nothing horrible.Those are the big updates for this week and hopefully by next week we will have some more investigators to talk about.
Elder Jones has 5 weeks left. But He isn't trunky at all which is awesome for me. Well I love you all and I hope that all stays well.

Week Thirty-Three: June 6th, 2011

Eating Dinner with a member family.

Dear Family,

This has been an awesome week. We now have a baptismal date with Teresa. She has been pregessing very well. We've been having 2 or 3 appointments with her everyweek and she is like the perfect investigator. With Iris, she was progressing very well but they can't get married for another 4 months so now we just have to help her to keep her excitement. Daniel is doing ok. His wife left him again and we haven't been able to get in and see how he is doing. He still hasn't gone to church and we have both decided that if he doesn't get to church in the next 2 weeks we will have to leave him for awhile.

So there is a family in the ward who has a 3 year old son named Dangelo. He is so funny. Whenever he sees us he always yells out ELDER TONTON!!! Some nights before he goes to bed he asks his Mom how different people are doing. Among them he asks about Elder Tonton (me) and the other Elder he says for Elder Jones. So this week we have changes. Changes happen every 6 weeks. That is where the possibility of someone going to another area comes. Well for this change we found out last night that neither me or Elder Jones are going. So this is Elder Jones Last change. Last night it rained like crazy. We were going to go to Pizza Hut today but it flooded. Well I love you all and I hope you all have a good week.
